Our Story
It all began on a cold morning deep in the woods, just two high school buddies on a hunting trip, sharing old stories by the fire. Somewhere between tracking elk and missing shots, the conversation drifted—like it always did—to food. Specifically, smash burgers. The kind we used to dream about back in school, greasy paper wrapping, crispy edges, fries that hit just right. By the time the sun set, we weren’t talking about hunting anymore. We were sketching out a menu on the back of a napkin and planning the food truck that would change everything. Back home, the hunting gear went back in the garage—but the food truck idea didn’t. We started meeting up after work and on weekends, testing out burger blends on a scratch and dent Blackstone, chasing that perfect sear and crust. It wasn’t just about cooking—it was about getting it right. We dug into research, watched late-night videos, called in favors, and burned through more buns than we could count.
The dream started to take shape in a dusty notebook and a shared Google Doc.
High school buddies turned business partners, chasing the taste we always talked about. We weren’t just flipping burgers—we were building something from scratch.
